Been eating here for 40 years! Same hometown taste and same hometown atmosphere. Best catfish in Louisiana! Shrimp is always juicy and fresh. Can't go wrong with any menu item. YOU WILL LOVE THEIR HUSHPUPPIES TOO!

I’m 51 and have been going here since I was a baby but the food in the past months had gone down so bad we stopped going. WELLLL we heard the food was good again. The food was completely back on point like the old days. Everything was delicious and I don’t know who made the tea today but DANG that was some of the best tea I’ve had in a long time. Yall keep up the good work. We are definitely going to start being repeat customers again. Love the lil dish they served the coleslaw in.
Me and my family stopped by the catfish cabin while driving through Monroe. I have to say the service was great .Dusty was an absolute standout during our dining experience. From the moment we sat down, he struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional. His timing was impeccable — always present when we needed something, yet never intrusive. You can tell Dusty genuinely enjoys what he does, and it makes a difference. He brought a warm, personal touch to the evening that made our visit feel special.
Love going to this place every time I visit family in Monroe. Obviously the catfish is great (See pic) but the frog legs are what I go for, they are huge. Sorry for got to take pic before I eat them. You can get all-can-eat any day of the week. The sweet tea is awesome as well.

Hush Puppies are phenomenal didn't know they are served before the meal. What a soft fluffy surprise! The lunch specials are great and plenty with their side variations. The fried catfish filet was great! Quick service but they were pretty empty for a late lunch.
